Housekeepers and dishwashers at Silicon Valley hotels typically earn less than $24,000 per year. The cost of housing and basic needs for a family of four is over $65,000 per year. On September 4th, workers from 10 major hotels marched around the downtown Hotel area and asked for livable wages, humane workloads, and a future in Silicon Valley.
