Street vendors are fixtures in the community who keep the spirit of homegrown San Jose alive. Rain or shine, they are out there to keep us fed, be our friends, and watch the neighborhood.These photos were taken by Gabriel Gonzalez, a senior at Downtown College Prep in San Jose, who participated in De-Bug's Summer Media Academy. Besides photography, Gabriel is a talented dancer who choreographs quinces. He is curious about life, passionate about the planet, and is an overall friendly person to be around!
