For Frank "Pancho" Torres

Audio by: The Homeboy Mad
May 27th, 2009

On this week's Block 2 Block Radio's Chicano Facts of the Week, The Homeboy Mad documents a firme benifit comedy jam thrown by Danny Cruzz at the Mexico Lindo Restaurant & Cantina on Sunday May 24th 2009. The comedy jam was thrown to help the continued artistry of Frank "Pancho" Torres and the Pop's Mini Mart Mural located on the cross streets of King & Ocala Roads on the East Side of San Jo. Enjoy our history over a sweet collection of firme Soul.

The audio segmant cracks off with a firme San Jo cover of "Tightin' Up" by Silky Smooth. The slow rolita using colors as a metaphor to describe how a man feels titled "Colors Are Real" by the Combined Forces was taken off the Gangsters Dedications Vol. 1 put together by the Soul Strivers. This firme audio piece ends with another Silky Smooth cover of "Expressway".

Stay Up, Stay Proud, Stay Trucha! Shooooah!!!!
